JOOVY RESURECTION

We got a Joovy Nook (highchair) back when E was just 8 months old. She was barely eating solids. We had just moved to Salt Lake City and it was the first time I had purchased something new and expensive. I spent $79 and patiently waited for it to be delivered. When we got it, we loved it! JT and I swore we would keep it for all of our children. We used that chair for 3 whole years and even brought it to Florida all the way from Utah because all of our children would use it. Eventually, time, a move, storage and just plain old use wore the chair out. When we got pregnant with L last year, the chair became a point of heated discussion in our family. JT wanted to throw away the chair and I wanted to keep it. I knew the chair was done, but I wanted so badly to keep it for all of our children—probably has a lot to do with the fact that I have very little memories of my childhood and babyhood (my parents kept nothing when we came to the States). Long story short, we had a flood in our house. And the chair was soaked in sewer water. We had to throw it away. I procrastinated getting a replacement, thinking that maybe we didn’t need it or that the old chair would come back. JT ordered a new chair without telling me. At first, I felt a little upset because I hadn’t done research to see if it was THE BEST chair out there now (funny how we spend so much effort just to buy one thing). When it came, I was so excited and relieved that we had a chair to feed our little L in. It turns out I love it just as much as our old one. I’m looking forward to making new memories with this chair too!

Review: I love Joovy products and their customer service has always been amazing. Easy to assemble and clean. The removable tray is a nice feature to help ensure that the plate stays sanitary.
