Some (real) thoughts on Pumpkins Patches

My sister and I had been dreaming about going to this pumpkin patch in Miami for a long time. Finally one morning we were feeling spontaneous. We drove one hour to THE ONE (shall remain nameless since this won’t be a nice post). Haha. We get there and each pay about $17 to get in. Only to find everything wilted and almost dead. Also it’s Florida so for some odd reason it’s almost 2 degrees hotter than hell in October. After about 25 mins we decided to get ice cream before we broke the news to the kids that we would be leaving soon. The kids were enjoying themselves but were also miserably hot. Most of the events advertised online were only for weekends. And they made the patch seem much bigger than it was. Really we should have known better. But such is life. No regrets because it was still a fun time. BUT we will never do it again. But we got some cute pictures. Life isn’t always as it appears to be in photos!
